OUR PASTOR:

Reverend Gary Williams is a product of God's divine order, who has been prepared and sent by God to lead Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church to its next level to understanding the power of spiritual growth and development in the 21st century.  His ministry is clearly characterized by Isaiah 61:1-2.  


Reverend Williams was born and raised in Halifax County, Virginia.  His grandfather, Deacon Jesse Owen, was very instrumental in his life and instilled in him as a child the importance of having faith and trust in God; knowing God for himself and embracing God's unconditional grace, love, mercy and peace as he embarks his life's journey.

In 2005, Reverend Williams accepted the calling for gospel ministry and was licensed by his father in the ministry, Reverend Dr. Alfred Jones Jr. of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Triangle, Virginia.  He was ordained in 2014 by Reverend Jones.

Educationally, Reverend Williams holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering Technology and a Master of Divinity degree from Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia.  He also holds various certificates in religious Studies.

Reverend Williams is married to Mrs. Jacqueline A. Williams and they currently live in the Fredericksburg area.  They have a son, Aaron, who resides in Richmond, Virginia.

Reverend Williams has been under God's directed path as a "pastor in the making" for many years and now he humbly shares his knowledge and understanding with Bethlehem Baptist Church.
